Any idea why this gif won’t play on my smartmatrix?
The matrix seems to play other gifs ok.

Not at the moment. Try using ezgif.com to reencode it
Is there a maximum size for the gif? I have a 64x64 pixel gif that is around 1.2mb.
It plays for about 1/3 of a second then stops.
In the past I’ve played an 8.2MB 64x64 GIF. Try reencoding the GIF you have using ezgif.com
I haven’t found a size limit. I have run several 32x64 abstract animations up to 10 hours long. The files range from 250 Mb to over 1 Gb. They seem to play fine as long as I set the timer accordingly.
