Just looking where to buy the smart matrix Shield for teensy 4.

Everywhere I look is out of stock.

Need them to replace failed ones that I had running in one system.

We ordered some back in January and they were out of stock everywhere then too. I slept since then, I think we ordered them from Smart Prototyping. URL:

Unfortunately because of the tariffs involved in importing shields from my manufacturer and warehouse in China to existing distributors in the US, my distributors have lost interest in stocking the shields. Smart-Prototyping is my manufacturer and the only place that has them in stock.

I just send smart prototyping an email to make sure their web shop is updated to reflect stock. I hope you can get some shields soon.

In smartled’s case it’s not just increased cost for the user, it’s distributors not wanting to carry it at all with the increased cost (I even offered them discounts), and complexity of the tariffs.
